We are absolutely delighted and incredibly grateful to announce that £8,512.15 has been raised for Highworth Forget-Me-Not by Mayor Julie Murphy, who chose us as her charity of the year for the second consecutive year.

 

This remarkable achievement is the result of months of dedication, hard work and community spirit. Through a variety of fundraising events and the generosity of local residents, businesses and supporters, Julie and her team have raised an amount that will make a real and lasting difference to our charity and to the people we support.

 

The funds will help us continue providing invaluable services for people living with dementia, as well as offering vital support to their families and carers. From our Memory Café and Friendship Fridays to Love to Move sessions, Dementia-Friendly Sing-alongs, outings and engaging activities, every pound raised helps create opportunities for connection, enjoyment and improved wellbeing.

 

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Julie Murphy and her team for their unwavering support over the past two years. Julie’s commitment to our charity has been truly inspiring, and we are immensely grateful that she has championed our cause with such passion and enthusiasm.

 

We would also like to thank everyone who attended fundraising events, donated, volunteered or supported the Mayor’s appeal in any way. Your kindness and generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of many local people affected by dementia.
